Louisville Irish Festival
September 24, 25 & 26, 2010
Cead Mile Failte to our annual Louisville Irish Fest. Enjoy the lovely campus at Bellarmine University as you experience Ireland in Song and Story this weekend. Our theatre group, the Mulligan Stew Players will entertain us with their 3rd production since last September. The Faery’s Kiss, written by local playwright Bill Breuer and directed by Anna Jo Paul will delight all ages with numerous magic tricks and romantic comedy plot. And speaking of magic, we are pleased to welcome Magician Debbie O’Carroll from Massachusetts to perform in our children’s area. This is a wonderful new addition to our expanded children’s area. Check our schedule for performance times.
Also new this year is our “Irish Gaming Area” with Celtic games as well as corn hole for adults and children. Wishing all of you the luck of the Irish as you try and win a prize for the lads and lassies in your life.
Enjoy our tea room, our food and retail vendors and of course, a Jameson or Guinness. We have a great line up of dancers and musicians to entertain you. Our cultural center, Gaelic language lessons and local historians will enhance your knowledge of Ireland and its fascinating past, present and future.
We appreciate your support and offer you our hospitality as we all come together to celebrate Ireland in song and story.
All events are rain or shine. While we cannot allow coolers or dogs, we encourage you to bring blankets and chairs along.
Slainte,
Noreen Fenton
