Robert Tincher first experienced the traditional music of the British Isles during the summer of 1973, as a University of Kentucky student visiting England and Scotland. It’s been his passion ever since. Over the years, he’s worked with several Celtic bands and as a solo performer. His singing and musicianship are widely respected.
This year, his indoor spots in Cralle Theater will spotlight the songs of Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns.
Robert Tincher’s “The Immortal Memory: Songs of Robert Burns” celebrates the life of Scotland’s national poet, featuring some of his best-loved songs and exploring the milieu that influenced Burns’ writing.
